About the Work:

Adjusting Parameters is a suite for alto saxophone and electronics written by UK-based composer Jenni Watson.

Watson's work is a personal reflection that interprets shifts in society through the lens of shifts in audio. The relationship between acoustic and electronic sound serves as a vehicle to explore positive aspects of societal change.

Adjusting Parameters was commissioned through a self-organised consortium of global and local saxophonists and donors in 2022.

About the Album:

this album is a celebration of everything i have worked towards over the last 3 years completing my doctorate research in saxophone resonators. i am performing on the five different Yamaha YAS-480's hosting the different resonators utilised in my research.
